O PROCESSO DE ENFERMAGEM APLICADO AO PACIENTE COM FISSURA DE LÁBIO E/OU PALATO: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Abstract

Introduction: Cleft lip and palate are malformations caused by non-junction or incomplete junction of facial bones during embryonic life and are among the most common congenital anomalies and originate between the 4th and 12th week, with the most common cleft lip to the 8th week and the palatine until the 12th of gestation. Objective: identify nursing diagnoses and interventions applied to patients with cleft lip and palate, described in the literature. Methodology:The present study consists of a review of the Scoping Review type literature according to the methodology proposed by the exploratory Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). It was established as inclusion criteria: articles written in English and Portuguese; studies of quantitative and qualitative character and studies that approached nursing diagnoses and interventions to the patient with cleft lip and palate. Results: Five articles that met the inclusion criteria were included in the scoping review.
